Dr. Chellis attended the University of South Carolina where she earned her B.A  in psychology in 2002.  Dr. Chellis graduated and earned her Doctorate of Chiropractic Degree from Life University, Altanta, GA in January 2009.  She joined Family First Chiropractic in March 2009.

Dr. Chellis’ chiropractic techniques include:  Thompson, Diversified, Activator, Gonstead, Webster and Cox Flexion Distraction.  She also treats sports injuries with extremity adjustments.

Dr. Chellis is a member of Bethany United Methodist Church and the Junior Service League in Summerville.

Dr. Chellis is married to Con Chellis of Summerville.  They also own Chellis Allstate Agency in Knightsville.   They reside in Summerville with their new daughter Kinsley and two dogs.

Dr. Chellis is dedicated to providing health and wellness to her patients.  She encourages parents to get their children adjusted following developmental milestones (birth, rolling over, crawling, etc).

Dr. Chellis suffered from migraines and severe allergies beginning in the fifth grade.  As a child she was told that her migraines were the result of her allergies and she was prescribed weekly allergy shots.  “I received my allergy shot on Friday afternoon and I would spend the entire weekend on the couch with a migraine,” recalls Dr. Chellis.  She continued to suffer for years until her brother became a chiropractor and gave her her first adjustment.  She finally realized that pain was not a normal part of life, especially for a child.  She decided to follow in her brother's footsteps and become a chiropractor. 

She joined Family First Chiropractic in Feburary 2009.
